Dog Zone in conjunction with Melbourne's leading professional dog training organisation Command Dog Training School, provides the following dog training programs weeknights & Saturday mornings. All programs are designed by Nationally Accredited Trainer and Assessor, Basil Theofanides. This ensures a high standard of training is achieved for pups, dogs & their owners through simple yet effective means. |
Basic Obedience Programs
(min age 18 weeks max age)
This program runs for 8 x 1 hour sessions and is designed for the busy pet dog owner. Teach Fido to come when called reliably, not to jump on people or furniture and how to socialise & interact with dogs & people in an acceptable manner. The program is designed to meet the needs of pet dog owners and includes play training & plenty of positive reward based methods. |

Kindergarten Puppy Training Programs
( 8-14 weeks)
This program runs for 4 x 1 hour sessions and is of paramount importance if you want your pup to grow up as a well adjusted member of society. Learn how to communicate effectively & establish correct behaviour patterns with pup by using the Training on Natural Lines approach. Pups will learn basic commands, learn to socialise in an acceptable manner with pups & people, develop confidence in day-to-day life by conditioning pups to noise, obstacles, grooming tables, brooms and furniture, all under one roof and the safety of Dog Zone.

In-House Training Programs
(min of 10 sessions)
Leave your dog with us for day-care & have it professionally trained by a qualified trainer. Ideal for the extremely busy. Whilst here, we'll train him in basic commands such as come sit, stay, drop and walk socially (no pulling on lead). The program includes a free private session with the trainer at its conclusion |
