At DogZone we pride ourselves not only on our standards of customer service but of our trained staff. In fact DogZone exceeds the standards set under the Codes of Practice for Dog Daycare Establishments under the Domestic (feral & nuisance) Animals Act 1994. As a DogZone client you can be assured that at all times of operation, there will be at least one qualified staff member aside of our junior staff looking after your dogs. All staff at DogZone receive on-the-job training. Furthermore two staff members have successfully completed the Certified Instructor Course (CIC) Dog Training & Behaviour with DTA (Dog Trainers Australia).

Sally and Ming
Sally Chan is the owner of DogZone, Australia’s 1st Day-care centre for dogs situated in Melbourne Australia. Sally started her career in the pet industry in 1994 where she successfully completed her Certified Instructor Course (CIC) Dog Training & Behaviour Level III with DTA and commenced training with Command Dog Training School where she remained as an Instructor until 2002. Sally is qualified to train Puppy Class, Basic Obedience and Advanced Training and is a member of the Australian Association of Professional Dog Trainers Inc.

Sally is also a qualified dog groomer and has been providing this service to DogZone’s clients since opening in 2002. In that time she has clipped and groomed hundreds of dogs from Poodles, Bichons and Schnauzers to Samoyeds and New Foundlands. Sally also won the Venture Cup Award at Swinburne University for her business plan of DogZone whilst undertaking her business/marketing degree in 2000.
Simon & Remy
Simon has been working at DogZone since its inception in 2002. Simon's experience in the pet industry began when he first trained a German Shepherd dog at Command Dog Training School in 1992 and went on to complete Advanced Training classes with her. In 1994 Simon successfuly completed his Certified Instructor Course (CIC) Dog Training & Behaviour with DTA and commenced training with Command Dog Training School where he remained as an Instructor until 1998. Simon owns and trains an American Bulldog (Jas) and is involved with American Bulldog Association of Australia. More recently he has completed a refresher course on dog training & behaviour with DTA
Justine & Jeanie Justine is a Certificate III Animal Technology graduate from Swinburne TAFE and has been working full-time at DogZone for twelve months. She owns a Jack Russell X Whippet (Spike) and has had pets all her life. She is currently training as a dog groomer with DogZone's owner Sally Chan.
 

 
Jess and Buster Jess has been working at DogZone for three years but has been an animal lover all her life. Aside of her time spent with dogs, Jess volunteers her time at the Donkey Shelter at Eltham.

Lisa and Tanto

Lisa has completed her tertiary qualification in Companion Animal Services Certificate III with Box Hill TAFE. She also works part-time with S.E.D.A. (Seeing Eye Dogs Australia).

Lisa's love for dogs includes her own dog Sophie, a Bichon.
   
Laura and Charlotte Laura works at DogZone Monday to Friday afternoons and has been with us for three years. She loves to pamper the pooches who also love the attention. You can usually see Laura with dogs around her feet and on her lap. What a life!
